The HCB series of High Voltage Bipolar Power Supplies provide a bipolar output at up to ±20 kV, at output currents of either 1 mA or 10 mA.

In the HCB series, two switchmode high-voltage power supplies are connected to the output. This means that the output voltage can be adjusted continuously through the zero crossing point.

Features of the HCB series

  • Unlimited operation under short-circuit conditions
  • 4-quadrant operation possible
  • Voltage regulation with current limitation
  • Charging energies from 100 J/s up to 20 kJ/s (higher on request)
  • Suitable for operation with capacitive and resistive loads
