Medium Voltage DC Power Supplies with Floating Output

The Medium Voltage DC Power Supplies available comprise models from the following series:

  • MCP switched mode power supplies utilising pulse-width modulatation for control of the output voltage. Output voltages range from 125 V up to 2000 V, with output powers from 14 W up to 4200 W. The output voltage is floating (maximum isolation voltage with respect to earth for units up to 350 V output is ±500 V. For units with nominal outputs from 650 V up to 2,000 V, maximum isolation voltage with respect to earth is ±2000 V)
  • MYN thyristor regulated power supplies. Output voltages range from 650 V up to 2,000 V, with output powers from 7 kW up to 70 kW. The output is floating (max. operating voltage with respect to earth: ±2,000 V)

These power supplies are capable of providing extremely stable, extremely pure, DC output power in the voltage range up to 2000 V - at powers up to 70 kW.

All MCP series units, depending upon output voltage and power, are supplied as either full or ½19" table-top cases (rack adapters for mounting within a 19" rack are also available)
All MYN series units are supplied configured as a 19" rack unit (height depending upon type) with castors.

A wide range of options are available, depending upon type, including:
