Precision High Voltage Power Supplies - Up To 300 kV / 200 kW

Our range of precision laboratory High Voltage DC Power Supplies, covering the range from 2 kV up to 300 kV, comprises models from the following three series (please refer to our separate Medium Voltage (0...2 kV) or Low Voltage (0...350 V) pages for information on power supplies for lower output voltages):
- HCP - high precision power supplies utilising pulse-width modulatation for control of the output voltage. High voltage outputs range from 0...3.5 kV up to 0...150 kV, with output powers from 14 W up to 15000 W (max. 4200 W for output voltages > 12.5 kV). The output voltage is either fixed positive or negative unless the optional polarity reversal option is specified. These power supplies provide a highly regulated high voltage output characterised by low ripple and high stability.
- HCH - high power, high precision, power supplies utilising pulse-width modulatation for control of the output voltage. High voltage outputs range from 0...650 V up to 0...300 kV, with output powers from 350 W to 50 kW. The high voltage output is either positive or negative unless the optional polarity reversal option is specified. These power supplies provide a highly regulated high voltage output characterised by low ripple and high stability. These power supplies provide a highly regulated high voltage output characterised, by low ripple and high stability, for higher power applications.
- HYN - thyristor regulated power supplies. High voltage outputs range from 0...3.5 kV up to 0...20 kV, with output powers from 7 kW up to 70 kW. The high voltage output is either positive or negative unless the optional polarity reversal option is specified. These power supplies employ a simpler control circuit, and thsu provide a cost effective solution for less demanding high power, high voltage power supply applications.
HCP series units, depending upon output voltage and power, are supplied as either full or ½-19" table-top cases. Rack adapters for 19" rack mounting applications are also available
HCH and HYN series units are constructed as a 19" laboratory rack (height depending upon type) with castors. Depending upon model, HCH series units may also be supplied with a separate oil-filled container to house the HV-section.

NOTE:
Ripple figure for MCP series applies for units up to 350 W power. For units with output power of 700 W and greater, ripple is <2x10-4pp +200 mVpp.
Ripple is referred to the nominal supply output voltage.
Stability is quoted for operation under constant conditions.
